Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center was built up on Sep. 2001. The center mainly focuses on creativity Education-related courses, competitions, exhibitions, programs, events, seminars, intellectual property maintenance, inventions and other items.
FEU has been ranked No. 1 among all the university applied patents for fourteen consecutive years from 2002 to 2007 and from 2009 to 2016.
FEU has been ranked No. 1 among all the university approved patents for fourteen consecutive years from 2003 to 2016.
FEU has been ranked No. 1 among all universities with 4227 applied patents and 3736 approved patents from 2001 to 2016/12/23.
FEU was ranked No. 1 with six National Invention awards from 2005 to 2008, 2011 and 2016.
FEU has won 579 medals, including 185 gold medals, 155 silver medals, 126 bronze medals, 104 special awards and other 9 medals.
The center set up the first Invention Education Hall on Sep. 2001 among all universities in Taiwan. Displaying specific patented inventions assist creative thinking course teaching, which is far more effective than abstract and theoretical method.
Inside the hall are more than 400 patented products from teachers and students, including the winning entries from the national creative competitions. These inventions also include household goods, machinery, sports and leisure category, health care products, safety equipment, consumer electronics, vehicle transport, environmental protection, business supplies, motor category, puzzle and others.
The invention and education hall is open to the visitors outside school, and provides free invention hall guide. The hall also gives teachers and students inside or outside school and the community a brainstorming environment to arouse the inventive interest and ability.
Up to now, there have been more than 28,000 domestic and foreign people visiting FEU Invention Hall.
